Stocking Name Tags. If you read my post from last week I talked about the reason why I decided to crochet new Christmas Stockings. Honestly, the whole reason why I wanted to do that was that I wanted pretty stockings to hang cute stocking name tags with.

Stocking Name Tags

I recently decided I wanted to embrace my crafty side and bought a Cricut Explore Air. I purchased a bundle so I had all the tools that I would need to create projects. The first project I created with my new Cricut was the stocking name tags.

Items that I needed:

I kept the natural wood color of the name tags because I wanted them to match the wood rings on the stockings. If you want a different color, you can stain the name tags the color of your choice. Then, of course, you might want to change the color of the vinyl you use for the names.

The names were created on the Cricut app. The font I used to print the names was BFC French Bread. The font made very clean minimal lines, which was exactly what I wanted. Once the names were printed out, I used the transfer tape to add the names to the wood tags.

I added a twine jute string in the hole of the name tag. Then, I strung on two wood beads to add a little detail. I had the perfect stocking name tags.

This project was super easy to make and added just the right amount of detail to complete the Christmas stockings.

I look forward to making more Cricut projects around my home. There are so many possibilities with this machine.
