Easter activities for toddlers. Easter is this weekend and I am excited to spend the holiday with my family. I am also excited to do a few Easter activities with my boys. I try to make the holiday fun for my boys but also not go overboard.
We are very thankful we are able to spend this holiday together this year. Last year, it was spent together via zoom and we didn’t even have a big Easter dinner. So, for this year we are doing all the things, as much as we can.

Easter Activities for Toddlers
Dying Easter Eggs
Dying Easter eggs is always a hit with our toddlers. It is a chance for them to show their creativity by coloring the eggs. My oldest will dye all of his a shade of blue because that is his favorite color. We will see how our two-year-old does, it will be his first time dying Easter eggs. I enjoy dying eggs as much as my kids do. Plus, it is a great way to create an experience they will be talking about for months afterward.
Find Easter Eggs
After dying the Easter eggs, either allow your toddler to hide the eggs for their sibling(s) to find. Or you hide the eggs for them to find. If you are worried about hiding the hard-boiled eggs outside, maybe hide them inside your house. Or you can always buy a few plastic eggs and hide them in your yard. Perfect activity to get your toddler outside or running around finding eggs.

Easter Baskets
Each year I get my boys a little something in their Easter basket. I am a practical person, so I try to buy them things they will use throughout the year. With summer on its way I like to fill their baskets with pool necessities. I usually buy a pair of swimming trunks or two, sunglasses and flip flops. I also get them one thing of candy or maybe a small toy. You could always do bubbles or outside chalk, they are always a big hit too.

Wear Pastels
Easter is a perfect time to bring out the pastel colors. It’s the beginning of spring and blooming flowers. The sun is starting to shine and springtime is perfect for the pinks and light blues. The boys enjoy getting dressed up in their button-down shirts and cute shoes.

Boat Shoes | Canvas Sneakers | Blue Button Down | Plaid Button Down | Chino Pants |
